Martha Sichone Cameron

Martha is originally from Zambia, Africa where she was born and raised. She has been married to Andrew Cameron since 2007 and they have three children, Tamar, Josiah and Judah; they currently live in Loudoun County of Northern Virginia.  Martha has been a Christian all her life and she accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and savior in 1993. Martha was orphaned early in her life and the Lord used her tragic and personal circumstances to shape her ministry to orphans and women.  Her story of ashes to beauty was played out when the Lord called her to establish and lead an International faith-based non-profit called Every Orphan s Hope (EOH) Inc. in Zambia. As the Executive Director of EOH in Zambia from 2003-2009,  she had hands on experience running HIV programs for orphans and widows.

Most recently Martha worked as the Director of Prevention for Women’s Collective (TWC), a leading community health and human service agency in Washington, DC; TWC provides prevention, care, and support services and advocates for the health and human rights of girls and women.

Martha still does some consulting work for EOH, RiverCross, Children’s AIDS Fund International and the International Community of Women Living with HIV.

Martha life is fueled by her love for Jesus, worship and raising her children. Her purpose is to love the orphaned and the vulnerable children, and introducing anyone who will listen to Christ.

She has bachelor’s in education (English/French)) and a Master’s in Public Health.
